Independent verification

What does “Verified by SignalProof” mean?

The page you were reading is not written by the channel. The numbers on it are calculated by SignalProof from the messages that channel actually published, and from real market prices.

Verified by SignalProof

SignalProof is an independent service. We do not post signals, we do not trade, and we do not decide what a channel publishes. We record it, and we check it.

In 30 seconds

How a signal becomes a verified result

Captured at publication

The moment a message is posted in the channel, SignalProof records it: the original text, the levels it contains, and the exact time it went out.

Frozen

From that point the record cannot be changed. If the author later edits or deletes the message, our copy stays exactly as it was published.

Replayed against the market

We take the entry, the stop and the targets exactly as they were published, then replay them against independent market data, from the moment the message went out to the moment the trade closed. Nothing is self-reported.

Published once the trade is closed

A trade appears on the page only after it has fully finished, winners and losers alike. Nothing is shown while it is still open.

Your first question

What the channel can and cannot change

A channel owns how its page looks. It does not own what the page says.

The channel controls

  • Its name, logo, photo and colours
  • The video and the description at the top
  • Which charts and breakdowns are displayed
  • The default language of the page
  • Whether the trade list is shown in full or summarised
  • The link to its own VIP or private group

The channel cannot

  • Change a single number on the page
  • Delete a losing trade
  • Keep the winners and hide the losers (the setting is all or nothing)
  • Rewrite a signal after publication to make it look better
  • Add a trade it never posted
  • Remove the Verified mark and keep the page

Summarised mode shows totals instead of the list of individual trades, but those totals are computed on every trade, losers included. There is no version of this page where the losses are missing from the maths.

Where the numbers come from

Checked against the market, not against the channel’s word

Results are replayed against independent market data, tick by tick. Nothing is taken from the channel’s own account of how a trade went.

Scored as published

The entry, the stop and the targets are read from the original message once, and never read again. If the author edits it afterwards, the result still stands on what was published. A later correction can never improve the number.

We do not guess

When a target and the stop are both reached in quick succession, the replay follows the order prices actually traded in, rather than assuming one. If the data cannot settle a decisive moment, the signal is flagged as ambiguous instead of being scored either way.

Never triggered is neither

If price never reached the entry, the signal counts as not triggered. It is not a win and it is not a loss, and it is left out of the win rate.

Thirty days, then expired

A signal still open after thirty days is marked expired and excluded from the totals, rather than left open to flatter them.

The channel declares once how it manages a position: how many targets, how the position is split between them, and when the stop moves to break-even. Every signal is then scored on that same rule, and the rule is printed on the page itself, under the headline numbers.

The words on the page

What the terms mean

No trading background needed. These are the only terms the page uses.

Pips
A pip is the standard unit a price moves. Here it's the net across every closed trade, wins and losses combined. For gold, 1 pip is a $0.01 price move.
Net R
R compares reward to risk. +1R means a trade made exactly what it risked. Net R adds up every win and loss in R, whatever the position size.
Win rate
The share of closed trades that ended in profit. A high number isn't the whole story, since a few big wins can outweigh many small losses.
Signals
How many verified, closed trades count in this period. Losses are always included.
Profit factor
Total winnings divided by total losses, in R. Above 1 the wins outweigh the losses; 2 means twice as much won as lost.
Max drawdown
The roughest stretch: the biggest drop from a high point to a low point in the running total, in R. It shows how deep the worst losing run went.
Risk:Reward
The average win compared to the average loss. 2 means a typical win is twice a typical loss; below 1, wins are smaller than losses.
Break-even
The stop has been moved to the entry price. If price comes back there, the rest of the position closes at zero: no gain, no loss.
Not triggered
Price never reached the entry, so the trade never started. Counted separately, never as a win or a loss.
Still running
Part of the position closed at a target and the rest is still open. The result shown is what has been banked so far, not a final number.

Being straight with you

What this does not prove

It is not your result

This page shows how the published levels performed on the market. It does not show what any individual made. Your entry, your position size, your broker’s spread and your timing are yours, and they will not match this page exactly.

It is not advice, and it is not a recommendation

A verified record says the numbers are real. It does not say the channel is right, that you should follow it, or that the next month will look like the last. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

We do not touch the trading

SignalProof does not execute orders, does not hold funds, is not a broker and is not a copy-trading service. We observe and we verify, nothing else.

Who is behind this

About SignalProof

SignalProof is an independent verification service for trading signal channels. Once a channel is connected, every signal it publishes from that moment on is recorded and checked against the market, and the result is what you see on its page.

Who pays for this verification?

The channel does. It is our customer. That is exactly why it cannot touch the numbers: a figure we could arrange on request would be worth nothing, not to you and not to the channel that paid for it. Our only product is a record no one can argue with.

Something looks wrong?

If you believe a verified page is inaccurate, tell us and we will look into it. support@signal-proof.com
